New Federal Grants
There are several grants available thorugh the Federal Student Aid process.  The Pell Grant and Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) are designed for needy students working on their first undergraduate degree.

The ACG (Academic Competitiveness Grant) is designed for 1st & 2nd year students who are Pell eligible and meet the requirements of completing a rigorous curriculum in high school.

The National SMART (National Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent Grant) is designed for 3rd and 4th year students who are Pell eligible and majoring in mathematics, science, technology, engineering, or a critical foreign language such as Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Russian, and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00

Given the relative lack of need-based aid sources, these grants are having a positive impact on our student's ability to afford going to college.  For more information, please contact The Office of Student Financial Services at 405.974.3334.
