Cost of Attendance (COA)

The total amount that it will cost the student to go to school---usually expressed as a yearly figure.  The COA (also referred to as "budget") is set by each institution and uses rules established by law to determine the maximum amount of funding (including federal and non-federal sources, such as scholarships) that the student is eligible to receive.  The COA includes tuition and fees, room and board, and allowances for books, supplies, transportation, loan fees, miscellaneous and personal expenses. At the student's request, an allowance for the rental or purchase of a personal computer, and, if applicable, dependent care may also be covered.  Costs related to a disability can also be covered.  For more information, please contact UCO Student Financial Services at 405.974.3334.
